Biography

Kelsey is a litigator at the Lynn Law Firm. Kelsey joined the Lynn Law Firm in 2017 after working at the United States Department of Justice, where he served as a trial lawyer in high-profile civil disputes and trials. Prior to his tenure at the Justice Department, Kelsey spent six years at two prominent law firms in the District of Columbia, handling intricate commercial, criminal, and regulatory disputes. At the Lynn Law Firm, he leverages this diverse background and distinctive strategic approach to advocate for clients in cases involving personal injury, insurance disputes, product liability, contract disagreements, antitrust/intellectual property matters, and other civil litigation issues. Kelsey graduated from Harvard Law School (with honors in 2007) and Georgetown University (with honors in 2004). He is licensed to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia, the federal District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Northern District of New York. Furthermore, he has represented clients in various courts across the nation, including California, Washington, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. During his time at the Department of Justice, Kelsey was honored with the John Marshall Award for Trial of Litigation, the highest attorney award in the Department, as well as an Assistant Attorney General Award. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association's Civil Practice and Rules Committee and Committee on Federal Legislative Priorities. Kelsey has authored numerous publications on topics such as civil litigation, trial techniques, and antitrust law, and serves as an editor of the American Bar Association's publication, Proving Antitrust Damages. He has consistently maintained a robust pro bono practice and was commended on the District of Columbia's Honor Roll for his pro bono contributions.
