Biography
With a primary focus on representing individuals in personal injury cases, such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability incidents, medical malpractice, and workplace injuries, Brian K. Towey, Esq. also has experience in criminal defense and real estate law matters. Before establishing his private legal practice, Brian worked as a lawyer at a local law firm specializing in advocating for victims of medical malpractice, car accidents, slip and fall accidents, and other personal injury claims. In addition to handling estate administration, litigation, estate planning, and real estate transactions, Brian concentrated his legal studies during law school on civil litigation, trial advocacy, and labor and employment law. He completed specialized programs in Civil Litigation and Labor and Employment Law, and held editorial positions on the Buffalo Law Review and the Executive Board for the Labor and Employment Relations Society. Brian gained practical legal experience as a legal extern at the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project and as a legal assistant and law clerk at a well-known law firm in Buffalo, New York, assisting with cases involving toxic substance exposure, workers' compensation claims, and childhood lead poisoning litigation. A Buffalo, New York native, Brian completed his education at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from the State University of New York at Fredonia. He furthered his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Canisius College before obtaining his Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School.
