Biography
James H. “Jim” Shenwick completed his studies at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Undergraduate Division in 1979, the Boston University School of Law in 1982, and the New York University School of Law Graduate Tax Program in 1983. He is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and authorized to practice in the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. With 34 years of legal experience, his practice primarily focuses on real estate and bankruptcy law. He serves as "of counsel" to Littman Krooks, a firm specializing in corporate/securities and elder law. Within his bankruptcy practice, he handles cases involving personal and business bankruptcy, representing debtors and creditors alike. Notably, he has handled numerous chapter 11 cases for businesses, managed creditor claims filings, and defended creditors in preference and fraudulent transfer actions.
