Shortly after, she transitioned to the role of a political correspondent for a statewide radio network in Connecticut, stationed in Hartford. Throughout her two-year tenure, Rochelle covered various political stories concerning the Connecticut legislature, senatorial and gubernatorial elections, and campaigns.Starting in 1984, Rochelle assumed the position of news director for a local radio station, where she anchored the morning news. Additionally, she took on roles as an on-air reporter and scriptwriter for a nationally-syndicated program broadcasted on 200 rad
