Biography
As a seasoned and proficient Lawyer at Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP, I am dedicated to championing the rights of individuals in the fields of Civil Rights, Employment Law, and Criminal Law. I have effectively represented workers in a diverse range of conflicts, including breaches of contract, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower complaints. My clientele encompasses highly compensated professionals such as bankers, attorneys, doctors, educators, and laborers. Additionally, I litigate class action suits on behalf of large employee groups with wage, hour, and other work-related grievances. I also handle cases involving investigations and criminal defense for individuals. I obtained my B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 1987 and my J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1990, where I excelled as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as an Editor of the Columbia Law Review. Post law school, I clerked for the Honorable Eugene H. Nickerson at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to joining Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP in 2002, I gained legal expertise at the Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division and as a Federal Defender in the EDNY. I bring the trial experience, determination, and resilience of a Public Defender in an urban setting, coupled with the analytical and communication skills of a lawyer educated at an Ivy-League institution. My commitment lies in delivering vigorous advocacy and striving for the optimal results for each of my clients.
