Biography

Kimberly G. Finnigan is a lawyer who specializes in immigration, employment and labor law, and civil rights litigation. Ms. Finnigan earned her Juris Doctor from William and Mary Law School, where she was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team, held the position of President of the International Law Society, and was a co-founder of the LL.M. Student Assistance Program. Ms. Finnigan excelled in Appellate Brief Writing, received recognition as a Mary Siegrist Hinz Leadership Fellow, and was honored with the Gambrell Professionalism Award. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Education from Middlebury College, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars. Ms. Finnigan gained valuable experience at the Clinton County Office of the District Attorney, the New York State Supreme Court, and Baker & McKenzie in Madrid, Spain. Before pursuing her legal career, Ms. Finnigan worked as a human resources professional for a global organization and contributed articles to the Chilean newspaper, El Mercurio. She is affiliated with the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Capital District Women's Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Albany County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Committee. Ms. Finnigan holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors for Equinox Inc. and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Senior Services of Albany. She frequently lectures on immigration and employment law matters.
