Biography

Attorney Amy Robinson is a highly skilled trial lawyer with a diverse background in advocating for individuals and groups whose legal rights have been infringed upon. Ms. Robinson specializes in representing employees who have encountered discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage violations; individuals who have been subjected to police misconduct under 42 U.S.C. § 1983; and consumers involved in class action litigation. She also has a successful track record in defending clients facing criminal charges, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, in the court of law. Ms. Robinson possesses extensive courtroom experience and has secured numerous favorable settlements on behalf of her clients. Before joining GSA in 2018, Ms. Robinson gained valuable experience at Stoll, Glickman & Bellina, a prominent civil rights law firm based in Brooklyn, where she led the legal representation in numerous civil rights cases. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis in the Southern District of New York. Ms. Robinson earned her Juris Doctor from CUNY School of Law in 2013, where she excelled as the Managing Editor of the CUNY Law Review and actively participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic. As a member of the Moot Court team, Ms. Robinson received accolades for her Best Appellate Brief and First Place Team awards. She was also honored with the BLSA M. Shanara Gilbert Criminal Justice and Human Rights Fellowship.
