Biography
JENNIFER WEISS is an attorney in private practice, specializing in matters related to discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University in 1983, her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University in 1986, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Law & Society from Northeastern University in 2004. Dr. Weiss previously served as the Executive Director of the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund and as a Professor of Law & Society at Ramapo College. She co-authored a law school textbook on Gender Identity and the Law with Professor David Cruz of USC Gould Law School, which is published by Carolina Academic Press.
