Biography
Walker G. Harman, Jr., completed his Juris Doctor degree at the Fordham University School of Law in 1999. While at Fordham Law School, he participated in the Moot Court Board and the Criminal Defense Clinic, and served as an editor for the Environmental Law Journal. He also held the position of President for the Fordham Student Sponsored Fellowship, overseeing the allocation of substantial scholarship funds to support students working with non-profit organizations. Additionally, he co-chaired the LGBT Students Organization, collaborating with university leadership to address issues of diversity and discrimination on campus. During his time at Fordham Law School, he interned for the Hon. Deborah Batts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Hon. Judge Denny Chin. Following his legal education, Mr. Harman assumed roles as the Secretary and Co-Chair of the LGBT Committee at the New York City Bar Association.
In 2003, after gaining experience as an associate at a prominent international law firm specializing in intricate commercial litigation, he established his own firm, Harman Green PC. Harman Green PC is dedicated primarily to employment law matters, encompassing areas such as discrimination, executive compensation, retaliation, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, and wage-and-hour disputes on behalf of employees. Since its inception, Harman Green PC has effectively represented numerous employees in a variety of employment discrimination cases and complex wage-and-hour conflicts, including collective and class actions. The firm has secured significant settlements exceeding seven figures for high-earning individuals, including lawyers, bankers, executives, and other professionals.
