Biography
Jaehyun Oh is a seasoned attorney specializing in civil rights, personal injury, and medical malpractice law. In 2022, Jae gained national recognition for securing the largest settlement to date for the sexual assault of incarcerated individuals under the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Since then, Jae has provided legal representation to numerous survivors of sexual abuse both within and outside of correctional facilities. Notably, she has advocated for 36 women who were victims of sexual abuse at FCI Dublin and has played a key role as plaintiffs' liaison-counsel in over a hundred civil cases related to sexual abuse at the facility. Additionally, Jae has represented a victim who testified before the U.S. Senate on the issue of prison sexual abuse, leading to significant reforms within the federal government, including the passage of the Prison Camera Reform Act. Known for her adept advocacy on behalf of marginalized populations, Jae is highly regarded by her clients and peers in the legal field.
