Biography

Following his graduation from RutgersLawSchool with high honors, he secured a position as an Associate at the renowned New York branch of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, a global law firm boasting a team of more than 800 lawyers across the globe. Israel specialized in the areas of Litigation and Employment Law, managing prominent clients such as Prudential, Deloitte, and T-Mobile. During his tenure at the firm, Israel was a strong advocate for Pro-Bono work and community service, earning recognition from the New York State Bar Association for his extensive pro bono contributions. He actively participated in initiatives related to early childhood education and served as a junior board member for the organization Jump Start. While excelling as a litigator in the legal field, Israel discovered his passion for working with independent artists and non-profit organizations in the entertainment industry. In his second year at the firm, his dedication to pro bono work with entertainment clients led to his inclusion in the prestigious “Empire State Counsel” by the New York State Bar Association. After two successful years at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Israel opted to forge his own path. Utilizing his financial resources and network, he established his consulting enterprise named "Burns Consulting," which seamlessly integrated his three key interests: business consultancy, artist management, and legal representation. Israel has delivered numerous motivational speeches across the nation, encouraging young individuals to envision beyond their current circumstances and concentrate on their aspirations. He has also actively participated in fundraising events for Foster Children, contributing to raising over $40,000 in charitable donations. In addition to his professional pursuits, Israel is a dedicated Rugby enthusiast and plays for the Brooklyn Rugby Club whenever his schedule allows. His accomplishments have been highlighted in various media outlets including ABC News, ABA Journal, Time Magazine online, The Huffington Post, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, Above the Law, and numerous online blogs.
