Biography
William G. Goode obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the College of William & Mary in 1996. He later earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond in 1999. He was granted admission to the New York State Bar in 2000 and to the New York Federal Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts, in 2001. In 2008, Mr. Goode completed an MBA in Corporate Finance from Dowling College. Following his law school graduation, he gained experience at a prominent Long Island law firm, working across various departments such as Trusts & Estate, Litigation, and Corporate. Subsequently, Mr. Goode assumed the role of General Counsel for multiple corporations under common ownership. After three successful years in this position, he was promoted to Executive Director, overseeing a corporation with over 300 employees. In 2009, Mr. Goode returned to private practice, focusing on Elder Law and Trusts and Estates. In 2011, he established his own firm, The Law Office of William G. Goode. While specializing in Elder Law and Trusts and Estates, Mr. Goode also handles cases in civil litigation and corporate law. He is affiliated with The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Suffolk County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. Currently residing in East Setauket, New York, Mr. Goode lives with his wife Karen and their two children, William & Caitlyn.
