Before obtaining my Juris Doctor degree from St. John's Law School in 1993, I worked as a Mechanical Engineer. Following graduation, I accepted a role as a senior project manager and internal legal advisor with a public works construction company, where I served until 1999. Since then, my legal practice has focused on representing contractors, property owners, and construction industry professionals in various project-related disputes, both in and out of the courtroom, as well as handling complex commercial litigation matters. I believe that my background in engineering and previous experience as a project manager provide me with a unique perspective and advantage in the field of construction law. In addition to litigation, my responsibilities include contract review and negotiation, mechanic's lien filings and enforcement, and assisting clients with day-to-day contract management and construction-related claims. My clientele comprises general contractors and subcontractors involved in public works projects, as well as contractors and property owners in the private sector.
