Biography

Michael Zisser completed his undergraduate studies at Boston University, graduating with honors in English and Philosophy in 2007. He then pursued a Master's Degree in English Literature at NYU before attending Hofstra Law School, where he graduated with honors. During his time at Hofstra, Michael was actively involved in the Hofstra Law Review and served as President and Editor-in-Chief of the Moot Court Board. He received recognition for his exceptional appellate advocacy skills and was chosen by the faculty to represent the law school as a student advocate in the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in the case United States v. Gooch. Michael's scholarly work has been featured in various academic publications, earning him multiple writing accolades, including the Award for Writing Excellence in the Humanities for his senior thesis at Boston University. Since joining his current firm in 2011, Michael has successfully litigated numerous motions related to intricate legal matters within personal injury and medical malpractice cases. His expertise spans across various areas such as municipal liability, New York's labor law, general negligence, premises liability, and the Shipowner's Limitation of Liability Act.
