Biography
Jeffrey earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1999 before pursuing his legal education at Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law in New York. During his time at law school, Jeffrey was actively involved in the esteemed civil litigation Bet Tzedek Legal Services Clinic, where he focused on representing wartime refugees seeking essential services upon their arrival in the United States. It was during this experience that Jeffrey discovered his dedication to assisting victims in need. After graduating, Jeffrey gained valuable experience working with the lead trial attorney at a prominent medical malpractice defense firm in New York City. In this role as a trial preparation associate, he observed numerous trials and gained valuable insights into defense strategies. Subsequently, Jeffrey transitioned to exclusively representing injured individuals, dedicating 17 years to two well-known plaintiff personal injury law firms, where he refined his litigation skills and became a proficient trial advocate. Jeffrey has successfully litigated numerous cases and secured multiple jury verdicts across the various boroughs of New York City, appearing in both state and federal courts. Notably, in 2008, Jeffrey played a key role in a trial at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, resulting in a jury award exceeding $44 million. This landmark verdict represented the largest reported Labor Law and construction site injury award in New York State and the 47th highest verdict in the United States for that year. Jeffrey's exceptional track record in securing substantial compensation for his clients has earned him lifetime membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Jeffrey remains dedicated to tirelessly advocating for victims of construction accidents and negligence.
