Biography
I started my professional journey as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County back in 1983. During my tenure at the District Attorney’s office, I served in various units including the Gun Unit, Robbery/Attempted Murder Unit, and eventually rose to the Homicide unit after spending four years in the office. I handled numerous homicide cases as a prosecutor and was later promoted to a supervisory role. Subsequently, I was appointed as the Deputy Bureau Chief of the Grand Jury Bureau, where I was responsible for overseeing the presentation of homicide cases to the Grand Jury. In 1994, I transitioned into private practice focusing solely on criminal law. As a criminal defense lawyer, I have successfully litigated and secured acquittals in cases involving Murder, Robbery, Rape, Assault, Narcotics, and prostitution. I am an active member of the New York County Assigned Counsel Felony and Homicide Panels, as well as a participant in the New York County Bar Association, where I serve on their legal referral criminal panel. Additionally, I have had the privilege of being a guest commentator on Court TV on multiple occasions. My legal practice is dedicated entirely to handling all facets of criminal law matters in both State and Federal Courts.
