Wagner specializes exclusively in the realm of matrimonial and family law, advocating for clients in the negotiation and litigation of prenuptial agreements, separation, and divorce proceedings. His primary focus areas include divorce cases, high net worth property disputes, prenuptial agreements, interstate support matters, and international custody issues. Bruce became a part of the firm in 1987, attained principal status in 1994, and currently leads the firm's Matrimonial and Family Law Department. He has established a strong track record in handling appellate cases throughout the state, appearing before the Appellate Divisions and the New York Court of Appeals. Between 2010 and 2012, Bruce held the position of Chair for the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, with a membership exceeding 2,700 legal professionals. In October 2016, he was honored by his peers with an invitation to join the American College of Family Trial Lawyers (AFCTL), a prestigious group consisting of only 100 highly skilled family law trial attorneys nationwide. Bruce previously served as a Town Justice for the Town of Schodack, Rensselaer County, where he was elected in 2002 and subsequently re-elected in 2006, 2010, and 2014, opting not to pursue a fifth term in 2018. He also contributed as a faculty member for the Advanced Judicial Education programs designed for Town and Village Justices from 2005 to 2011.
