Biography
William J. Leininger, a native of New York, completed his education at Regis High School in Manhattan, St. Francis College in Brooklyn, and Fordham Law School at Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Upon graduating from Fordham Law School in 1974, he achieved the top ranking in his Evening Division. With licenses to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, Mr. Leininger has made appearances on various national TV programs such as The Today Show on NBC, the CBS Morning Show, the Phil Donahue Show, and the Sally Jessie Raphael Show. He has been a distinguished lecturer on the subject of Divorce for four decades.
William J. Leininger was the first attorney in Staten Island to receive certification as a Divorce Mediator in 1994. Over the years, he has successfully mediated more than 860 Divorce cases, including those involving assets worth up to $15 million and complex custody disputes. Transitioning from litigating challenging divorce cases, Mr. Leininger now focuses his practice on Divorce Mediation in New York and Florida, as well as handling Uncontested Divorces and Mediation of PreNuptial Agreements.
