For more than a decade, I have managed a variety of divorce and family law matters in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as in the courts in and around New York City. With my extensive background, I am adept at securing favorable settlements for my clients, a feat I have accomplished numerous times. Unlike many divorce attorneys with limited trial experience, I commenced my legal career in criminal law, where trials were a regular occurrence. During my initial two years at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, I successfully litigated over twenty cases. Subsequently, I relocated to New York and became part of the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, where I was elevated to the position of Deputy Bureau Chief of the Felony Trial Division. A decade of working in criminal law provided me with the opportunity to refine my trial skills, which now serve to benefit my divorce and family law clientele. Oftentimes, matrimonial cases introduce intricate financial challenges, such as tracing missing funds, establishing the income of cash-based enterprises, or valuing businesses and advanced degrees. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings, I eagerly embrace these challenges.
