Biography
With a background in private practice, Rebecca has represented individuals on both sides of matrimonial and family law cases, covering various aspects such as prenuptial agreements, asset distribution, spousal and child support, custody matters, and post-judgment modifications and enforcement. She is dedicated to understanding and addressing each client's unique needs, utilizing her specialized expertise in every case. Drawing from her experiences in private practice, diverse internships, and pro bono efforts during her time in law school, Rebecca has developed a keen understanding of the emotional complexities that families often encounter during the divorce process. While studying law, she served as a law clerk at a specialized matrimonial firm in Manhattan and engaged in a clinical internship at the Children’s Law Center, representing children in cases related to custody, visitation, and family disputes. Furthermore, she interned at the matrimonial unit of District Counsel 37 Municipal Employees Legal Services and under the Honorable Lee A. Mayersohn at the Supreme Court, Queens County. Rebecca has also contributed pro bono services to the Uncontested Divorce Project, assisting victims of domestic violence with the preparation of uncontested divorce documents.
