Michael L. Walker graduated with honors from Queens College, City University of New York in 2003, where he pursued a dual major in Philosophy and Political Science. During his time at college, Mr. Walker was honored with memberships in the Pi Sigma Alpha and Golden Key Honor Societies. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Walker pursued his legal education at Albany Law School of Union University, earning his degree in 2006 with a focus on Business Law. Upon gaining admission to the bars of New York and Massachusetts in 2007, Mr. Walker commenced his legal career at a specialized immigration law firm in Manhattan. Subsequently, he established his own practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in 2008. Mr. Walker is an active participant in the New York State Bar Association, Brooklyn Bar Association, and Bay Ridge Lawyer’s Association. He holds licenses to practice law in the state courts of New York and Massachusetts, as well as in the Federal Circuit Courts for the Seventh and Second Circuits, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Walker has effectively represented clients before various federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration Customs Enforcement, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
