Biography
With a proven track record, Eric S. Shiller, Esq. has effectively represented more than 18,000 clients. He possesses extensive expertise in resolving legal disputes in the courts of New York State. Mr. Shiller is authorized to practice law in both the State of New York and the State of Connecticut. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2000. During his time at Hofstra, Mr. Shiller was recognized as a finalist for the Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County Leon Stern Award. Additionally, he was chosen to take part in the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, a premier program for honing legal advocacy skills. Before transitioning to private practice, Mr. Shiller served as a trial attorney at The Legal Aid Society of Orange County, Inc., focusing on criminal defense and family law cases. He holds memberships in the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and its Criminal Justice Section, as well as the Orange County Bar Association, the New York State Defenders Association (NYSDA), and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NYSACDL).
