With over two decades of experience in the legal field, she is recognized for her empathetic yet strategic approach, leveraging her unique background in forensic psychology and courtroom advocacy to assist clients in Queens and throughout New York State.Ms. Vasiliou obtained her B.A. in Forensic Psychology with distinction from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. During her undergraduate studies, she undertook a clinical externship at Bayview Correctional Facility, where she provided guidance to incarcerated women nearing their release to support their successful reintegration into society. Following her graduation in 2007, she served as a court liaison for various alternative-to-incarceration initiatives across New York City.In 2012, she earned her Juris Doctor from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, concentrating on New York Criminal Procedure and Estate Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013. Throughout her legal education, Ms. Vasiliou completed an extensive legal apprenticeship under the mentorship of seasoned defense lawyer Anastasios Sarikas, who currently serves as in-house counsel at Vasiliou Law.In 2014, she successfully completed the Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute at the National Criminal Defense College, honing her courtroom advocacy skills and trial strategies.
