Biography
Alexander E. Sklavos is an experienced senior attorney with a rich legal background. He is admitted to practice law in the New York State Bar, the Washington DC Bar, and the United States Federal Courts. Mr. Sklavos obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Union College and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where he achieved academic distinctions and was recognized with the Clinician of the Year award for his dedicated service to underprivileged senior citizens. Before assuming his current position, Mr. Sklavos worked as a law clerk for Justice Thomas Demakos of the New York State Supreme Court. Furthermore, he shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor at Touro College, teaching Business Law and Real Estate topics. Currently, he is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, where he previously held a position on the Board of Directors. Besides his legal endeavors, Mr. Sklavos has held notable roles in politics, including serving as the Democratic Town Leader for the Town of Oyster Bay and as a Vice Chair of the Nassau County Democratic Committee. Mr. Sklavos’ commitment to pro bono work in Nassau County has been recognized with various awards, highlighting his dedication to community service. He remains actively engaged in Bar Associations, political groups, and community initiatives, all of which enhance his ability to provide exceptional service to the firm’s clients.
