Biography

Randall F. Inniss is a lawyer specializing in DUI and Criminal Defense law, who established a specialized legal practice and serves clients in the Hudson Valley area. Previously a law enforcement officer for over two decades, Randall joined the New York State Police at the age of 21. Throughout the intensive six-month state police academy training, Randall gained comprehensive knowledge of criminal law, procedures, traffic regulations, and various legal statutes. This foundational training continues to influence his legal practice. As a legal professional, Randall is certified as an Instructor in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, the roadside assessments conducted by officers on suspected intoxicated drivers. Alongside his tenure as a full-time state trooper and his progression within the investigative division, Randall pursued his Bachelor's Degree with Honors from Binghamton University and subsequently pursued his legal education at the University at Buffalo School of Law. He successfully obtained his Juris Doctor and LL.M. (Master of Laws) degrees while concurrently serving in law enforcement. During his law school years, Randall completed internships at prominent District Attorney's offices and the state Attorney General's office. He collaborated extensively with both local and federal law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI, DEA, INS, and Secret Service, on significant state and federal investigations across multiple states. As a state trooper, Randall was qualified to provide expert testimony in specialized areas of organized crime and drug enforcement before the court on behalf of other law enforcement agencies. With over two decades of experience in the criminal justice system, Randall possesses a unique level of knowledge, insight, and expertise that greatly benefits his criminal defense practice. His distinctive perspective, acquired from handling substantial law enforcement operations and collaborating with prosecutors and state attorneys general, informs his approach to criminal defense. Randall applies this invaluable perspective to his legal practice. Facing charges?
