Meredith I. Madon - New York Attorney Profile

Before starting her own practice, Meredith worked as a lawyer at Advocates for Children of New York (AFC). During her time at AFC, Meredith specialized in special education law. Prior to her tenure at AFC, Meredith gained experience in the Trusts and Estates Division at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. Meredith earned a B.S. "with Honors" from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Before pursuing law, Meredith completed a Fulbright Scholarship focusing on disabilities and special education, leading to a Masters of Education. Following her Masters program, Meredith taught in the public schools of New York City. She has been honored with the Empire State Counsel Awards in 2006 and 2008 for her commitment to public interest work in special education law. Meredith is a member of the New York State Bar.
