Brittni A. Sullivan Profile

Brittni A. Sullivan serves as a Senior Associate lawyer at Burner Prudenti Law, P.C. She began her tenure with the firm in January 2013 as a legal intern during her law school years. Since 2015, Brittni has focused her legal practice on Estate Planning, Medicaid, and Guardianship matters. In 2024, she was once again recognized as a Rising Star attorney for the New York Metro region by Super Lawyers, a publication of Thomson Reuters. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon only 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state annually. Brittni was also honored as one of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in Elder Law in Setauket, NY for the second consecutive year in 2025. Brittni earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science with magna cum laude honors from Iona College in 2011. During her time at Iona College, she was inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma for her exceptional work in Political Science and served as the nominated President in her senior year. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2014. While pursuing her legal education, Brittni was awarded the Linda Carmody-Roberts Scholarship for her dedication to a career in Trust & Estates and Elder Law. Additionally, she was a Public Justice Foundation fellow for her commitment to community service. In 2018, she was recognized as an “Outstanding Woman in Law” by Hofstra Law’s Center for Children, Families, and the Law and Long Island Business News. Brittni is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, and the VIBS Elder Law Committee. She is also part of the Elder Law section of the Suffolk County Bar and the Trusts and Estates section of the New York State Bar Association. Brittni has authored numerous articles on current Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Guardianship issues and frequently speaks at seminars addressing these topics as they relate to the elderly population. She is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
