Jennifer B. Cona is the creator and managing partner of Cona Elder Law, the prominent Elder Law and Estate Planning firm on Long Island. She stands out as one of the most successful women on Long Island, demonstrating leadership in business and community involvement. Ms. Cona's responsibilities include representing, advising, and aiding seniors and their families in asset preservation, Medicaid planning, estate planning, wealth transfer tactics, estate management, estate disputes, guardianships, and special needs planning. Under Ms. Cona's leadership, the firm broadened its services to include a department dedicated to health care reimbursement and recovery. At present, Cona Elder Law serves over 175 nursing homes and health care facilities throughout Long Island and New York State, establishing Ms. Cona's firm as a top-tier legal practice in this field. The firm strives to secure and guarantee a funding source for long-term health care, collaborating with families and health care facilities to maintain quality care for seniors. Ms. Cona holds the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Long Island Alzheimer's and Dementia Center (LIAD). She is appointed as a court evaluator, guardian, Guardian ad Litem, and legal representative for incapacitated persons by the Supreme Court and Surrogate Court.
