Biography
Stephen R. Silverstein specializes in estate and incapacity planning, estate management, guardianships, and elder law. He obtained his degree from the University of Rochester and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a trust officer at a bank, gaining experience in estate and trust administration, as well as employee benefit plans. Mr. Silverstein is an active member of the Erie County Bar Association's Surrogate’s Court Committee and holds the position of Recording Secretary. Additionally, he is a part of the Elder Law Committee at the Erie County Bar Association and is affiliated with the Trusts and Estates Section and Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He frequently engages with community organizations and has made appearances on radio shows to discuss his legal expertise.
