Jessica M. Peraza - Profile

Jessica M. Peraza serves as Counsel in the Trusts & Estates Division at the law firm. Her legal practice focuses on Estate Planning and Administration, Medicaid and Long-term Care Planning, and Wealth Management. During her time as a law student, she completed internships at the Hon. Barbara Howe's office in Erie County Surrogate’s Court and at the Public Benefits Unit of Neighborhood Legal Services. Her prior professional background includes involvement in residential foreclosures, labor law in both public and private sectors, contract negotiations, probate cases, third party credit collection, and representing clients in administrative hearings and arbitrations. Ms. Peraza obtained her Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language & Literature and Government from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, where she also spent a semester studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. She graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2015. Ms. Peraza is licensed to practice law in New York and holds memberships in the Erie County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the WNY Women’s Bar Association.
