My legal practice is primarily focused on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Asset Protection, and Medicaid eligibility. I began my law career as a litigator, fiercely representing my clients in various legal matters. Subsequently, I gained valuable experience working for a prominent Elder Law attorney in Suffolk County, handling Probate and Estate Administration, Guardianship issues, and Estate Planning. Prior to joining Grabie & Grabie, I held the position of Director and In-house Counsel at a community guardianship program in Nassau County. In this capacity, I supervised a team responsible for overseeing the personal and financial affairs of more than 60 individuals who lacked the capacity to manage their own affairs due to conditions such as mental illness, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, or age-related dementia. Additionally, I provided legal support for their ancillary needs, advocating on their behalf in diverse legal matters including real estate transactions, eviction cases, child support disputes, permanency hearings, and estate-related claims. Moreover, I assisted in the preparation and submission of applications for governmental benefits such as SSI, Medicaid, and other public assistance programs.
