Biography

WENDI S. LAZAR serves as a partner at Outten & Golden LLP in New York City, where she leads the firm's Individual Practice and the Executives and Professionals Practice Group. Ms. Lazar specializes in various aspects of employment law, particularly focusing on executive contracts such as retention, expatriate, non-competition, talent, severance, and compensation agreements. She also assists teams of executives, founders, and partners during transitions in sales, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate dealings. Ms. Lazar's legal practice extends globally, providing guidance to clients and legal representatives both within the U.S. and internationally on employment, contractual, and immigration matters. She represents individuals, partners, and management groups within portfolio and public companies, financial institutions (including banks, hedge funds, private equity firms), as well as entertainment, advertising, and media organizations. Additionally, Ms. Lazar advises law partners, associates, accounting professionals, doctors, and medical practitioners on various transactional issues. She was appointed as a commissioner by the American Bar Association's Commission on Women, leading the Sexual Harassment and Gender-Based Bullying Committee.
