Biography

Brian J. LaClair serves as legal counsel for both private and public sector labor unions, employee benefit plans, and individuals in a diverse range of labor and employment issues. Brian's legal practice primarily centers on litigation, encompassing federal court proceedings, labor and employment disputes, ERISA matters, labor arbitrations, cases before the National Labor Relations Board, employment discrimination claims, and employee benefits cases. Additionally, Brian offers pro bono legal services to financially disadvantaged individuals seeking unemployment insurance benefits. Prior to his tenure at Blitman & King LLP, Brian worked as an attorney in the litigation division of a prominent global law firm based in New York City. Before that, he gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable David N. Hurd, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of New York. Brian is a native of Syracuse, where he was born and raised, and finds joy in spending quality time with his loved ones.
