Jack Raisner - Employment Lawyer in New York City

With a successful track record, Mr. Raisner achieved favorable outcomes in the U.S. Supreme Court for a 2,000-member employee class in the case of Czyzewski v. Jevic Holding Corporation. This pivotal decision curtailed the practice of employers circumventing wage obligations during bankruptcy proceedings, bolstering the rights of priority creditors. The renowned WARN Practice Group, under his leadership, was honored as the "Bankruptcy Practice Group of the Year" by Law360, following this groundbreaking ruling. Specializing in employment law since 1991, he actively pursues class actions related to the WARN Act and wage disputes nationwide.
