CARA E. GREENE serves as a partner at Outten & Golden LLP in New York, specializing in advocating for employees and partners through litigation and negotiation within various aspects of employment law. Her expertise encompasses executive and professional contracts, compensation, discrimination class actions, whistleblowing, sexual harassment, as well as discrimination related to disability, pregnancy, and family obligations. She holds the position of Co-Chair for O&G's Family Responsibilities and Disability Discrimination Practice Group and actively participates in the Sexual Harassment and Sex Discrimination Practice Group, Financial Services Practice Group, and the Executives and Professionals Practice Group. In her role, Ms. Greene is involved in the review and negotiation of employment contracts, compensation agreements, severance packages, and other termination arrangements. She has handled litigation for both individual and class action cases on behalf of various employees, including hourly workers, professionals, lawyers, and individuals in the financial services sector. Ms. Greene also serves as the Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section at the New York State Bar Association and holds memberships in the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section (Employment Rights and Ethics and Professional Responsibilities Committees), National Employment Lawyers Association and its New York affiliate (NELA/NY), as well as the New York City Bar Association.
