Kevin J. Shehan is the Founder and Principal of Shehan Legal, PLLC. Shehan Legal, PLLC represents employees and small to mid-sized business employers in New York and Virginia, as well as federal government employees globally. Specializing in labor and employment counseling and litigation, as well as providing outsourced and part-time general counsel services, our firm is committed to delivering top-notch legal solutions.Prior to establishing Shehan Legal, PLLC, Kevin gained extensive experience in labor and employment law while working at prominent law firms in New York. In his most recent role, Kevin led the Labor & Employment practice group for New York and Virginia at an international law firm. He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Monique J. Roberts-Draper, Administrative Judge at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's New York District Office. Kevin commenced his labor and employment law career in Washington, D.C., where he contributed to the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy.An active member of the legal community, Kevin is affiliated with the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law and the New York State Bar Association. He attained his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law, where he also held the position of editor at the George Mason Law Review and later taught legal writing and remedies as an adjunct professor. Kevin graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Albion College.
