Biography
Providing guidance to clients on the regulations outlined in the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA concerning the creation, management, consolidation, and dissolution of both qualified and nonqualified pension plans, as well as health and welfare plans, is the focus of Michael R. Daum's legal practice. Mike's objective is to proactively help his clients navigate intricate regulatory challenges preemptively. During his time in law school, Mike gained experience as an extern for the Honorable David W. McKeague, a Judge at the Sixth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. He also worked as a research assistant for Mary A. Bedikian, the Director of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program at Michigan State and a former District Vice President at the American Arbitration Association. Furthermore, he provided assistance to the Michigan Supreme Court. Originally from Central New York and a former public address announcer for St. John Fisher College athletics, Mike finds joy in spending quality time with his loved ones when he is not at work. During his leisure hours, he indulges in traveling, dining out, and closely following the activities of the Buffalo Bills and New York Knickerbockers.
