Tyler Patterson - New York Lawyer

Serving as an Associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Binghamton branch, Tyler advocates for the rights of federal and private employees seeking assistance with issues such as harassment, disability retirement, retaliation, disciplinary actions, discrimination, adverse actions, and Title IX matters. Leveraging his background as a litigator with various distinguished law firms in the nation’s capital, Tyler offers a unique perspective on federal labor and employment law to the firm's local practice group. Before joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Tyler practiced as a litigator at a reputable law firm in Washington, D.C., where he gained substantial experience in products liability, premises liability, settlement negotiations, and mediations. In this position, he conducted intricate investigations in areas such as mass tort law, antitrust law, and government contracts. Tyler also served as a litigation associate at a prominent law firm in Washington, D.C., where he conducted investigations related to alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act on behalf of employees of multinational corporations. Tyler earned his juris doctorate from Pennsylvania State University Law School, where he participated in moot court and received the CALI Award in Antitrust Litigation. Additionally, he served as a tutor for constitutional law students during his time in law school. Tyler completed his bachelor's degree at Binghamton University, majoring in political science with a focus on international policy. As an undergraduate, Tyler interned at the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Division of Economic Justice, Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau, as well as at the Broome County Public Defender’s Office.
