Biography
Joel I. Rachmiel completed his undergraduate studies at Newark College of Engineering (now part of N.J.I.T.) in 1967, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following a successful career as a mechanical engineer, Mr. Rachmiel pursued his passion for law by graduating from Seton Hall Law School in 1973. He then embarked on a distinguished legal career, starting as an Assistant Union County Prosecutor from 1973 to 1979, where he handled an impressive 75 jury trials. In 1979, Mr. Rachmiel established his private practice, focusing on plaintiff's personal injury litigation, criminal defense, and municipal court cases, including DWI/DUI defense. He achieved the prestigious designation of Certified Criminal Trial Attorney in 1982 and later attained the title of Certified Civil Trial Attorney in 1987.
