Biography
Michael Samuel is a seasoned litigator in New York with expertise in various legal areas, such as handling claims related to overtime and minimum wage, ADA defense, personal injury, arbitration, commercial disputes, uninsured/underinsured motorist cases, judgement enforcement, and commercial collections. Mr. Samuel earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Yeshiva University in 1985 and later attended Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He commenced his legal career at Kresch & Kresch in New York City, where he successfully litigated numerous cases, including securing a verdict exceeding $900,000 in his first personal injury jury trial. During his time at Kresch & Kresch, Mr. Samuel also served as the managing attorney, overseeing other legal professionals and the firm's daily operations. Subsequently, he established his own practice, where he has been practicing law for the past 22 years. Mr. Samuel’s caseload currently encompasses significant personal injury matters, ADA defense cases, judgement enforcement, no-fault disputes, commercial and consumer debt collections, and wage-and-hour litigation. Noteworthy is his pro bono representation of a September 11 attack victim who suffered severe injuries, resulting in a successful recovery of $940,000 through the Victims Compensation Fund.
