Fees

  • Free Consultation Initial phone consultations to my office are free. These usually take from fifteen to thirty minutes. Office consultations are charged
  • Contingent Fees I offer work helping clients to locate appropriate personal injury firms to take their cases. This has included: preparing a professional overview of their case, making calls on the client's behalf, taking field trips to interview with potential large contingency fee attorneys. Contingency Fee lawyers usually charge one third of the money collected, if any, after costs. Referring counsel usually takes one third of the one third so the client pays no more than they would have paid.
  • Rates, Retainers and Additional Information As of this 2023 writing, my current rate compares extremely well with rates elsewhere at $325 to $350 for lawyers with my level of experience and expertise. Indeed, it is way below the going rate. I charge flat rates for wills, powers of attorney, living wills, and health care proxies.
