Biography

I graduated from Wesleyan University and the Boston University School of Law. Throughout my legal career, before establishing my current independent practice, I have served as a government regulatory trial lawyer for the State Public Service Commission, an in-house legal advisor for a Fortune 100 company, and as a partner or legal consultant for various mid-sized law firms in Albany and Syracuse. My dedication lies in assisting individuals and small businesses with their legal issues at a fair, fixed-rate structure that eliminates surprises, deviating from the traditional hourly billing method. Additionally, I am a co-founder, board member, executive, and legal counsel for The Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by enthusiasts of Phish that strives to promote music education for children, oversees the Phish.net website, and has produced three publications about Phish's live performances, known as The Phish Companion series. Since its establishment in 1996, The Foundation has contributed over $800,000 raised from its literary and online endeavors towards music education for disadvantaged youths. I am also one of the originators and executive board member of the Glens Falls Food Cooperative, a cooperative owned by its members that offers locally sourced organic produce at wholesale rates.
