Mindy Lee Zoghlin established The Zoghlin Group in 2016, following close to three decades of legal practice as a founding member of a general law firm. At Bansbach Zoghlin P.C., she built a strong practice in municipal, land use, environmental, and zoning law. Mindy represented various citizen groups, later transitioning to representing municipalities, in a wide range of litigated issues stemming from state and local zoning regulations, New York state Constitution, State Environmental Quality Review Act, Oil Spill law of New York, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act at the federal level, and common law. These legal matters involved challenging the validity of municipal approvals and compliance with SEQRA, pursuing cost-recovery actions for damages related to contaminated properties, contesting the constitutionality of the Oswego County Flow Control Law, and other legal claims. She served as a speaker at the Center for Environmental Information’s Annual Environmental Law survey course during the 1990s. In the 2000s, Mindy remained a frequent lecturer on topics concerning zoning, land use, and municipal law. In 2016, she departed Bansbach Zoghlin to establish The Zoghlin Group.
