Susan previously served as an Advocate for Minors in Seneca County for more than a decade. Her background includes extensive experience teaching writing to university students at Syracuse University and San Diego State University, where she also served as a legal writing instructor at Syracuse University College of Law. Additionally, she worked as a fiction editor at a publishing house catering to adults facing literacy challenges. Following her tenure in a Syracuse law firm, Susan co-founded Benjamin & James, PLLC with her business partner in 2005.
