Wendy has extensive experience in challenging financial institutions during the mortgage foreclosure crisis that started in 2008. She offers a unique perspective on foreclosure and mortgage defense, mortgage loan modification, short sales, and consumer bankruptcy. Wendy has been practicing law in New York since 1997 and is authorized to practice in all four federal and bankruptcy districts in New York, as well as the federal district of Connecticut. Wendy is known for her empathy, practical approach, and willingness to go the extra mile to advocate for her clients. She provides straightforward guidance and listens carefully to her clients' needs, understanding the financial challenges they face. With over 23 years of experience representing both lenders and borrowers in the mortgage banking industry and residential foreclosures, Wendy has a deep understanding of bank strategies and is adept at developing innovative solutions. Clients appreciate her transparent communication style, which helps them navigate the legal process with confidence and clarity. Wendy was honored with the New York State Bar Association's 2016 President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the 9th Judicial District.
