Biography

Jessica B. Smith serves as an Associate Attorney in the Real Estate Law Department at the firm, guiding and supporting clients involved in property transactions. In addition to overseeing the closing process, Ms. Smith addresses post-closing concerns, property tax disputes, and landlord-tenant conflicts. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Saint Lawrence University and completed her Juris Doctorate at Barry University School of Law in 2013. Ms. Smith is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida. Prior to joining HoganWillig, she offered legal assistance to individuals confronted with eviction, aided in securing and maintaining housing subsidies, and represented clients in matters related to public and subsidized housing.
