Biography
Specializing exclusively in Bankruptcy Law and Foreclosure Defense, Allen A. Kolber, Esq. graduated as a Belkin Fellow from Cardozo Law School in 1987 and was admitted to the New York State Bar. With a background as a Queens County Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Kolber advanced to become a Supervisor in the Trial Bureau before transitioning to the Appeals Bureau where he gained experience in drafting and presenting appeals before the New York State Appellate Division. In 1991, Allen Kolber embarked on a new chapter with a prominent Wall Street litigation firm. Over the following 7 years, he represented Underwriters at Lloyds of London in high-stakes cases within the New York Federal Courts, successfully navigating multi-million dollar litigations to settlement, trial, and appeal. Since 1999, Mr. Kolber has focused his practice on Bankruptcy Law and litigation within the Federal U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, covering a broad geographic area encompassing the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland Counties, and the Hudson Valley.
