Biography

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I grew up in the bustling city. Graduating summa cum laude from Manhattan College in 1999, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and International Studies, earning accolades such as the College’s Ryan Medal for Government and memberships in various honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa. In 2002, at the age of 23, I completed my Juris Doctorate at Quinnipiac University School of Law. I am authorized to practice law in the State of New York and have been granted admission to practice in federal courts in the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York. A seasoned litigator, I possess extensive experience representing both business and non-business clients. Throughout my career, I have achieved notable milestones, such as securing a substantial seven-figure personal injury settlement, successfully presenting arguments before the New York State Appellate Division, and effectively advocating for clients in litigation, mediations, and arbitrations across various legal matters. I have handled cases on behalf of clients against significant entities including the City of New York, JPMorgan Chase, New York City Transit Authority, TD Wealth Management Services, Inc., The Long Island Railroad, and Macy's. Furthermore, I have established myself as a recognized authority in NY Election Law, with my insights referenced in scholarly publications and featured in esteemed media outlets such as the New York Daily News, Crain's New York Business, Independent Voter Network, and Lawyers.com. I have also imparted knowledge on Election Law and Ethics through instructing Continuing Legal Education courses for attorneys at the New York City Lawyers Association. Additionally, I have contributed as a member of the City Bar’s Election Law Committee, where I collaborated on developing stances on pending Election Law legislation on behalf of the Committee. Notably, in 2012, I successfully navigated the high-profile 27th Senate re-count, overturning an 87-vote deficit and securing a 13-vote victory for my client, marking a historic moment in NY State Senate election history.
