Abby Pendleton is a co-founder of The Health Law Partners, P.C. She graduated with high honors from Wayne State University Law School in 1996 and is a distinguished member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Pendleton actively contributed to the Wayne State Law Review and held a leadership role as a Senior Articles Editor. During her time at Wayne State, she received accolades such as the American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Contracts and Criminal Law, along with the Deloitte and Touche LLP Award for her excellence in tax law. Ms. Pendleton has been immersed in healthcare law practice since 1996. She offers strategic guidance to healthcare entities and professionals on various legal matters, encompassing compliance, Recovery Audit Contractors ("RACs"), Medicare audits, fraud and abuse issues, reimbursement disputes, HIPAA Privacy and Security, as well as physician staff privilege and licensure concerns. Ms. Pendleton's expertise extends to advising billing and management firms, anesthesia and pain management specialists, hospice providers, and mental health organizations.
