Biography
James is a member of our Trusts & Estates, Business, and Health Law departments. Prior to joining our team in August 2024, James honed his skills and expertise as a Senior Associate Attorney at a firm situated in the Capital Region. This background provided James with valuable experience in assisting clients with a wide range of legal issues, such as estate and long-term care planning, strategies for reducing estate taxes, estate and trust administration, real estate matters, corporate transactions, and the establishment of various business entities. He is committed to creating customized plans that meet each client's unique requirements and ensuring that every client receives top-notch guidance. James completed his studies at Hartwick College in Oneonta, where he specialized in Political Science and was a member of the football team. He played for three seasons and later served as the Assistant Defensive Backs Coach for one season. James obtained his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he held the position of Executive Research Editor for the Family Court Review Journal. Originally hailing from Franklin Square, New York, James now resides in Halfmoon with his family. Beyond his professional commitments, James remains dedicated to football and mentorship, serving as the Defensive Backs Coach for the Mohonasen High School Varsity football team and as the Co-Chair of the Capital Region Chamber's Executive Mentorship Program.
